Beatport Launches Greenroom, a New Profile and Analytics Hub for Artists and Labels

Free platform gives artists, labels, managers, and teams tools to manage profiles, monitor performance, and promote events

Beatport has launched Beatport Greenroom for Artists & Labels, a new centralized platform designed to help artists, labels, managers, and their teams manage their presence on the electronic music marketplace.

Available to artists and labels with music currently listed on Beatport, Greenroom brings profile management, catalog information, audience insights, team permissions, and Beatport Tickets event listings together in one free service.

A central place to manage Beatport profiles

Beatport profiles play an important role in how DJs discover music, follow artists and labels, and keep track of new releases. Through Greenroom, the people behind those profiles can update their information and present a more complete picture of their work.

Approved users can use the platform to:

  • Claim and manage artist or label profiles
  • Edit biographies and profile descriptions
  • Upload artist images and label logos
  • Invite managers, colleagues, and other team members
  • Assign different levels of account access
  • Review catalog products available for streaming or download
  • Access performance data, including downloads, DJ followers, and DJ streams
  • Add upcoming events from Beatport Tickets to profile pages

The platform is intended to give artists and labels more control over how they appear on Beatport, while also providing data that can help them understand how DJs are engaging with their music.

Beatport positions Greenroom as a marketing tool

Beatport Chief Commercial Officer Alex Branson said the launch strengthens the company’s role as a marketing partner for artists and labels.

“With the launch of Beatport Greenroom for Artists & Labels, we take a huge step forward in cementing our role as their key marketing partner,” Branson said. “They can now utilise their profiles as truly intended, better connecting with their DJ followers to nurture long-term relationships.”

He added that users can combine updated biographies and imagery with live event schedules, while using analytics to better understand how DJs interact with their releases.

Beatport described Greenroom as the first stage of a broader platform it is developing for the artist and label community.

How to claim a profile

To get started, artists and labels can sign in using their Beatport.com account and select whether they want to claim an artist or label profile. After submitting a request for review, approved users will gain access to Greenroom’s management and analytics features.

The launch gives artists and labels a direct way to keep their Beatport presence up to date, monitor catalog performance, involve their teams, and promote upcoming events.

Beatport Greenroom for Artists & Labels is available now. Artists and labels can log in to claim their profile and begin using the platform’s tools.
